The developing market has attracted the realty players to enter and venture into variety of projects — from luxury, mid-segment to affordable to commercial working spaces,” shares Pradeep Aggarwal, founder and chairman, Signature Global and chairman, ASSOCHAM, National Council on Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development.


This area is also closer to the IGI Airport. Not just connectivity, New Gurgaon is also a hotspot for affordable homes. “With the introduction of policies like Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana and ‘Housing for All’ the affordable housing market is booming and currently promises best returns. The region is going to be well occupied with commercial and entertainment centres,” adds Aggarwal.


Major developers feel that owing to the variety of options both in commercial and residential properties New Gurgaon is expected to see huge investments in affordable segment in the coming years. Today, New Gurgaon is known for its expansive options in affordable homes. The property in the area is priced between 24,202 and Z6,598 per square feet. “Over the years, there has been a significant demand from end-users in the low-income and mid-income groups. Owing to which, affordable housing projects are a major draw among homebuyers In New Gurugram,” sums Rajat Goel, JMD, MRG World.
